CY Yan

Reverend CY Yan can be best described as a missionary pastor. He currently serves as Ambassador for Connections East Asia at OMF Canada—a mission that traces its origins to China Inland Mission, which was founded by Hudson Taylor in 1865. In this capacity, he seeks to come alongside East Asian diaspora across the country, help build indigenous biblical church movements in their midst, and see them become missionary-sending forces. He spends most of his Sunday mornings speaking as an itinerant preacher in various churches. CY is a board member and an active organizer and instructor of Perspectives Canada. He has also served in volunteer roles as Advisory Pastor for the English Ministry at Toronto Grace Alliance Church, Chaplain at Pearson International Airport, and Chaplain at Markham Stouffville Hospital. CY is also associated with International Association for Refugees, Joy Beyond Vision Community, and China Evangelical Seminary (Vancouver) as a volunteer board member.
